Social Event Our 2009 dinner was held at the Edge Hotel on Friday, 16th October, 2009. It followed the format as the year before last when we held a very successful formal dinner at the same venue. We were entertained by a Dance Troupe called 'Body and Soul' and we are grateful to Janice Brock for having organised the event. 
A view of one of the tables. Last year we booked St Mary’s Village Hall, Nether Alderley for Friday, 10th October and had a sit down meal with a glass of wine. Next year we are hoping to hold an informal dinner at the Cricket Club. Details will be announced shortly. The National Trust The National Trust are carrying out some work on Pillar Mine.
