We have spent the last two years modernising Rickerby House, which was built in 1752, and it now offers spacious and luxurious self-catering accommodation. It is situated in the village of Portinscale on the northern shore of Derwentwater and is only a 10 minute walk from the market town of Keswick.

For those with the energy from the doorstep you can enjoy fell-walking, mountain biking and water-sports (it is only a few minutes walk to the Lake and marinas) with rock climbing and much more nearby. There’s something for everyone and the best pub we know is only 30 seconds from the door!
